On 29th January 2011, the 56th Idea Filmfare Awards (Bollywood) function has been taken place at Mumbai, YRF studios. I have gone through this news in a daily news paper and I would like to share the winners here.

Winners of 56th Idea Filmfare Awards 2010-2011 are,

Lifetime Achievement Award: Manna Dey, a well known singer received this award for his achievements.

Special Awards:

Amitabh Bachchan received a Special Filmfare Award for completing 40 years in the film industry.

Madhuri Dixit received a Special Filmfare Award for completing 25 years in the film industry.

Best Scene of the Year Award: Golmaal 3 received this award.

Critics award for Best Actor: Rishi Kapoor for acting in the movie ‘Do Dooni Chaar’

Critics award for Best Actress: Vidya Balan for her performance in ‘Ishqiya’

Critics award for Best Film: Vikramaditya Motwane and Sanjay Singh for the movie ‘Udaan’

FILMFARE AWARDS – TECHNICAL CATEGORY

Best Choreography: Farah Khan won this award for ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’

Best Dialogue: Habib Faisal for the movie ‘Do Dooni Chaar’

Best Action Director: Vijayan Master for his work in ‘Dabbang’

Best Cinematography: Mahendra Shetty for the film ‘Udaan’

Best Action Sequence: Vijayan Master for his work in the movie ‘Dabbang ‘

Best Editing Award: Namrata Rao for the film ‘Love Sex aur Dhoka’.

Best Screenplay: Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane for the film ‘Udaan‘

Best Story: Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane for the movie ‘Udaan’

Best Background Music: Amit Trivedi for the film ‘Udaan’

Best Production Design Award: Mukund Gupta for the movie ‘Do Dooni Chaar’.

Best Sound Design Award: Shared by Pritam Das for the film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ and Kunal Sharma for the movie ‘Udaan’.

Best Costume Design Award: Varsha and Shilpa for the movie ‘Do Dooni Chaar’

Most Familiar Awards

Best Male Actor: Shah Rukh Khan for his performance in the movie ‘My Name is Khan’. He has dedicate the award to his daughter is the special word from him.

Best Actress: Kajol for her performance in the movie ‘My Name is Khan’.

Best Film: For the Movie ‘Dabangg’

Best Director: Karan Johar for the movie ‘My Name is Khan’

Best Debut Director: Manish Sharma for the movie ‘Band Baaja Baraat’

Best Debut Male Actor: Ranveer Singh for the film ‘Band Baajaa Baaraat’

Best Debut Actress: Sonakshi Sinha for acting in the movie ‘Dabangg’

Best Male Supporting Actor: Ronit Roy for the movie ‘Udaan’

Best Female Supporting Actor: Kareena Kapoor for acting in ‘We Are Family’

Best Music Composer: Sajid Wajid won this award for the movie ‘Dabangg’

Best Lyrics: Gulzar won this award for the song ‘Ibn-e-Batuta’ from the film ‘Ishqiya’

Best Song Composer: Lalit Pandit for composing the song ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ for the movie ‘Dabangg’

R.D. Burman Award for New Music Talent: Sneha Khanwalkar for ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha’

Best Male Playback Singer: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the song ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’ from the movie ‘Ishqiya’

Best Female Playback Singer: Was shared between Mamta Sharma for the song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from the film ‘Dabangg’ and Sunidhi Chauhan for the song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ from the movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’

This year Dabangg and Udaan have won more no of awards. And my favorite Vidya Balan won the best actress critics award is the big news that makes me happy J
